Coffret Millésimes
Frapin Millésimes 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996 are truly exceptional cognacs. Each vintage is the result of a complex alchemy; a union of a unique terroir, knowledge passed from generation to generation and a passion for excellence. They embody the Frapin’s style with their voluptuous aromatic richness and their infinitely long finish. These 5 vintages come entirely from Frapin’s vineyard located exclusively into the heart of Grande Champagne. They are harvested, distilled and aged at Frapin’s Domain.
The BNIC (Cognac’s regulatory authority) guarantees the authenticity of all Frapin single vintage cognacs. Each cask is sealed with wax and can only be opened under their supervision.
Millésime 1992 – 26 ans d’âge (40.5%vol.)
1992 offered high yield. ABV was low so the acidity was important. The nose of this vintage is elegant, it offers delicate aromas of prune and liquorice. The palate is refined with subtle notes of orange. The finish is long.
Millésime 1993 – 25 ans d’âge (42%vol.)
1993 was a year with low yield. ABV was low, so the acidity was important. The weather conditions were disrupted during the maturation. The nose is elegant with citrus fruit notes then apricot. The palate is powerful and offers dried fruits notes (hazelnut) and rancio.
Millésime 1994 – 24 ans d’âge (41.8%vol.)
1994 offered a good flowering and high yield with big bunches. Discreet nose then interesting aromas of dried figs after airing. The palate is supple with beautiful notes of dried fruits like almond.
Millésime 1995 – 23 ans d’âge (42%vol.)
1995 was dry, ABV was low so the acidity was important. The nose offers aromas of vanilla and delicate woody notes. The palate is balanced, rich and pleasant aromas of spices are detectable.
Millésime 1996 – 22 ans d’âge (41.6%vol.)
1996 offered good conditions of maturation. The nose of the vintage 1996 is subtle with white flowers notes followed by fruity notes like peach. The palate is elegant and gives ripen apricot and candied fruits flavours.
